Unilever Ireland (2011 to 2013)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
I was responsible for developing the Out of Home retail channels for HB soft, Scoop & Stickline Ice Cream. This includes devising JBP’s and marketing programmes for key customer using category management principles, consumer insights and shopper behaviour. Growing share, sales & profit were a must!

MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
Grew sales and shares for HB OOH brands by +15% in a declining ice cream market
Launched Magnum Swirls in Ireland
Increased on average “Footfall” (+8%) & “Spend” (+5%)
Rolled out a new innovation (HB Cornetto Soft) across 37 key retail/leisure sites.

PROJECT MANAGER
Genuine Introductions Limited (2006 to 2010)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
In May 2006 I set up Genuine Introductions Limited, a “One-to-One” introduction dating service for single/unattached people over 35. In September ‘06, the “Genesis” brand was created which resulted in the execution of high quality innovative “Events” for singletons, delivering fun and excitement.

MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS:  
Created, developed & launched www.genesisclub.ie with 500,000+ visitors
Achieved a unique premium membership database of 2,000 singletons

MARKETING MANAGER
C&C Ireland (1995 to 2006)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage, plan and spend the annual trade marketing budget for all soft drinks brands
Manage the marketing agency Marketing Network
Brand planning for Pepsi & 7Up brands
Launching vending

MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
Increased Pepsi’s share of the cola market by 5% between 2001 – 2006
Successfully re-launched Diet 7Up as 7Up Free
Managed the annual marketing budget of €8m with no overspends
Increased annually, the sales of “Cold Drinks” by 10%.

Developing the soft drinks brands in Northern Ireland
Managing the Burger King brand in the UK
